MUSCAT, 7 April, 2013 - Oman Office Show 2013, the Sultanate’s premier trade show dedicated to the office and interiors industry, will be held between September 16 and 18, 2013 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre in Seeb.

The high profile trade show for the architecture and interior design community - the Oman Office Show 2013 - in its second edition will bring together some of the world’s top names in office design under one roof, who will showcase a comprehensive mix of product segments, including automated systems, furniture, stationery and supplies, security products, storage systems, office accessories, interiors and commercial fit-outs.

Organised by Global Exhibitions & Conferences LLC (GEC), the three-day exhibition offers business and trade visitors an opportunity to meet local and international exhibitor. Oman Office Show will unite a broad range of buyers wanting to meet and do business with manufacturers, suppliers, interior designers and fit-out companies offering medium-to-high-end products, solutions and services that are essential to create an ideal workplace.

The whole event is conceived as a major exhibition for offices, commercial complexes and malls, hotels and resorts, hospitals and museums. The three-day show, supported by AHK German Industry and Commerce, has the confirmed participation of some of the most sought-after brands from Europe, America and Far East.

With the Oman government’s decision to boost expenditure by 28 per cent to OMR12.85 billion this year, there is going to be a strong uptrend in economic growth. This, in turn, will immensely benefit the real estate sector, and most notably the commercial office arena. This has already been witnessed in the country with huge investments flowing into real estate sector. Since a growing economy always triggers an influx of foreign firms, demand for office space across all market segments is projected to grow.

"It is against this optimistic economic backdrop that Oman Office Show 2013 provides an opportunity for both international and local firms to showcase their products and services to their potential clients. As businesses turn to technology and cutting-edge workplace practices to stay competitive, it is only imperative that they are suitably acquainted with the gamut of design and product innovations associated with the ideal office space," said C J Paul, Chief Executive Officer of GEC.

"In line with the growth of diversified projects across the Sultanate, Oman Office Show 2013 has evolved with a strong focus on all working environments, including commercial designs and fit-outs,” added Paul.

In fact, the GCC region’s interior industry is currently witnessing rapid growth and development and is strongly reflected in the high number of design projects that accompany the current batch of world class development projects in the region.
